A fun feast of book & story related activities for 3-12 year olds
An important part of AKLF is the focus on children – developing a love of books and promoting the idea that reading is fun. This year AKLF presents a dedicated children’s mini fest as part of the larger AKLF 2012. A range of lively activities around books and stories, including short performances by children, has been curated especially for the pre-reading to pre-adolescent age group, with a book quiz for the slightly older children. Celebrated musician Bickram Ghosh will inaugurate the event and interact with the children, while Oindrilla Dutt from Open Doors will conduct the quiz. Kangaroo Kids, a reputed pre-school, and Apeejay School will participate in the programme, along with Future Hope, a school for disadvantaged children. All are invited …
